This movie is a triumph of human connection across great difference.
A former NYPD Hero homophobic cop hates but needs an eccentric,
younger upstairs neighbor. That neighbor is a female impersonator
who is saving money to transition. It is funny, sad, and beautiful.
We are hosted this movie as a first in a series designed to build community,
have fun, and raise money for the Initiative for Transgender Leadership
Fellowship launching in January. It was fun, conversation-provoking, & yielded $100 for the 100 x $100 campaign.
Thank you to Rainbow Alliance, everyone who attended, donated money, and baked cupcakes and cookies. People teaming up to make things happen is energizing, inspiring, and making connection possible.
